Overview: Nestled along Pattaya’s renowned Walking Street, The Cavern A-Go-Go offers a unique thematic twist to the city’s bustling nightlife scene. Styled to resemble a cave, this venue stands out with its distinctive decor and ambiance, making it a noteworthy stop for nightlife enthusiasts.
Decor and Atmosphere: True to its name, The Cavern A-Go-Go is designed with a cave-like aesthetic. The interior features rugged, stone-like walls and dim, atmospheric lighting that creates a mysterious and cozy environment. Plush fur seats add to the cave-like feel, providing a comfortable yet intriguing setting. The design is intended to offer a distinctive atmosphere compared to the more conventional go-go bars in Pattaya, aiming to immerse patrons in a unique experience.
Entertainment and Performances: During my visit, I found that The Cavern A-Go-Go had a modest selection of dancers, with a few who could be considered attractive. However, the overall performance quality and energy levels seemed somewhat average compared to other go-go bars on Walking Street. The entertainment included standard dance routines and performances, but nothing particularly exceptional stood out.
Pricing and Service: The Cavern A-Go-Go adheres to the standard pricing found across many of Pattaya’s go-go bars. Drinks are priced comparably to other establishments, with beers and spirits falling within the typical range. Lady drinks and bar fines are also in line with the average costs, though specific figures may vary. Service during my visit was adequate but not particularly notable, contributing to the overall impression of the bar as somewhat mediocre.
Conclusion: The Cavern A-Go-Go provides a distinctive decor that sets it apart from other bars, but the overall experience may not be as memorable as some of its more vibrant counterparts. For those interested in a unique thematic setting and a more subdued atmosphere, The Cavern A-Go-Go could be worth a visit. However, if you’re seeking high-energy performances or exceptional entertainment, you might find other venues along Walking Street more fulfilling.

I can only confirm that, as of November 11, Office and Champagne remain top choices for go-go bars. I made a conscious decision to skip the shed in April, opting instead for venues with a better reputation. However, I’m considering giving it another chance in August. Sometimes, places can improve significantly over time, so I’m hopeful that it might offer a better experience. The motto "it can only get better" seems fitting here, as circumstances and offerings at venues can change. Keeping an open mind and revisiting spots after some time can often lead to pleasant surprises. I’ll be sure to check it out again and see if it lives up to the improvements I’m hoping for.

Two years ago, I remember finding quite a few passable options at that venue, but unfortunately, the situation has changed significantly. Currently, the offerings range from bad to very bad, which is a considerable disappointment. It’s frustrating when a place that once had potential or met expectations declines over time. This shift can impact the overall experience and might deter patrons from returning. While past visits may have been satisfactory, the current state indicates a significant drop in quality. It’s always disappointing to see a venue that once had promise fail to maintain its standards.

The Cavern has been closed since mid-November 2012, marking the end of its run as a go-to spot. The closure of the Cavern was a significant change, as it had been a popular venue for some time. Since then, the girls who used to work there have moved to another club owned by the same proprietor. This owner is also responsible for several other establishments in the area. If you were a fan of the Cavern, you might want to check out the new club where the familiar faces have relocated. It could be worth visiting to see how the new venue compares and whether it offers a similar experience to what you enjoyed at the Cavern.

The experience at the new club has been really disappointing. It was so bad that I wouldn't consider going there a second time. The drop in quality was quite noticeable, and it didn't meet any of my expectations. From the service to the overall atmosphere, everything seemed to fall short. It's always tough when a venue you hoped would provide a good experience turns out to be a letdown. Given the poor experience, I’d advise looking elsewhere for a better night out.
