Today’s exploration of Pattaya’s nightlife took me on quite the journey. I began at the Bodega Bar on Soi 13/2 Rd, a live music venue that has become a personal favorite due to its vibrant atmosphere. Despite being right next to where I live, I hadn’t had the chance to visit until today. The live music, which kicks off at 6 p.m., serves as a sort of wake-up call for me. Although my musical tastes are diverse, there's something special about being introduced to the night by a Santana track.
From there, I headed to Dolls Agogo. I arrived just in time for the Silicone Show, a highlight of the evening that never fails to impress. While the bar is well-covered in reviews, it’s worth noting that the experience remains consistently top-notch. My evening took a brief detour when my therapist suggested grabbing a bite with the incredibly charming and young Mamasan. We went for a quick Korean Shabu meal, which was a great prelude to the rest of the night.
Next, I visited Miami Agogo, located on Soi 13. The venue, although small and somewhat gritty, had a unique charm. Its décor seemed to be held together by a combination of old grime and lively energy. The music was unexpectedly upbeat, and the ten or so girls working there were quite attractive. Miami Agogo has a party basement vibe that I found oddly comforting. It felt like a place where one could relax in pajamas and still have a good time. My night took an interesting turn when I met a Vietnamese girl at the bar. With a bar fine of only 600 THB, she was a pleasant surprise. Pattaya’s Soi 13 area offers a rich mix of bars and experiences, each with its own character.
I then ventured to Electric Blue, a venue I hadn’t visited in over a year. The bar, with its two parallel stages, had recently renovated its sofas and maintained a classic feel. Despite being only 12:30 a.m., the place was already fairly empty. The performances on stage varied from amateur to model-quality, making it a venue worth revisiting later in the evening.
Feeling adventurous, I popped into Super Girls Agogo on Soi 15. The bar was bustling, particularly popular with Korean patrons. It featured a central stage and a rather amusing setup with one girl performing in a corner, creating a humorous yet enjoyable atmosphere. The music was a bit repetitive but didn’t detract from the overall experience. While the natural look of the girls might not be to everyone’s taste, it added a distinctive touch to the evening.
I wrapped up my night back at Shark, where I observed the impressive line-up of girls. The bar’s solid structure and comfortable seating made for a pleasant environment, though the volume of the music was a bit overwhelming. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, marked by good music and attentive service. I also visited Baccara, a well-maintained bar known for its cozy ambiance and lively atmosphere. The mix of older, well-made-up dancers and friendly staff created a welcoming environment, making it a memorable stop.
Finally, as the night drew to a close, I ended up at Fahrenheit, where the impressive line-up and excellent music system stood out. At 3 a.m., after a full evening, Mamasan surprised me with a complimentary top performer, a fitting end to an eventful night. All in all, Pattaya’s nightlife proved to be as diverse and captivating as ever.
