A new branch of Spanky's, originally from Bangkok's Nana Plaza, has recently opened its doors right next to Diamond AGoGo on Soi Diamond. Although the official opening party is scheduled for December 8th, I happened to walk by yesterday and noticed that it was already operational. I spent about an hour there, observing the environment and the service. The establishment is managed by an American from Chicago, which contributes to its relaxed and unobtrusive atmosphere.
The girls, while not particularly extraordinary at this stage, have potential, and I was informed by the Mamasan that the bar isn't fully staffed yet. There was one standout girl among the current lineup. The drink selection is somewhat limited, with no draft beer available. Heineken and gin and tonic were both priced at 120 Baht, and the Mamasan kindly provided a gin and tonic shortly after my arrival.
