Popular and Recommended Go-Go Bars

I’m heading back to Pattaya and Jomtien on Tuesday, following a tour through Laos and Burma. I’ll be based in Jomtien for the entire month of March, and I’m eager to explore the local go-go bar scene.

I enjoy taking strolls through the go-go bars and have been researching the current scene. From what I’ve gathered on English-speaking forums, there are frequent updates about short-term closures, renovations, and rebranding of go-go bars. Pattaya is said to have between 70 and 75 go-go bars in total.

After spending about an hour sifting through various threads, I’m curious about the popular and recommendable go-go bars as of now. Specifically:

**In LK Metro:**
- **Kink** (formerly Gold): What’s the current scene like?
- **Champagne** and **Bachelor**: Both are now bars; have they changed significantly?
- **Pandora**: How does it fare these days?

**In Walking Street/Soi 15:**
- **Soi 15**: This area has previously boasted good go-go bars with plenty of girls, a lively atmosphere, and decent music. Which ones are currently worth visiting?
- **Pin-Up**: Known for its consistent quality, is it still a standout spot?

I plan to share some reports and impressions once I’ve had a chance to visit these spots.

do you have some information about your list?
It doesn't really make sense to me.
One person likes the fat girls in a Gogo, another likes the draft beer for 59 Baht.
That would be nice....

Quin - probably should be Queens - and Pin-Up are new to me. I'm sure that I've been to these Gogo's a few times too,
only they had a different name back then.
It's interesting that Whats UP in Soi 15 isn't even mentioned anymore.
This Gogo in particular had a lot of fans on this board a few years ago.
I went in two or three times and described this Gogo as an extremely expensive "posh" place.
Many of the girls there were great, of course, but the prices were out of this world, like in a pharmacy.
In a certain respect, these Gogo's are rip-off shops. First and foremost, a few years ago, the Whats Up.
If you have to pay 200 Baht and more!!! for a simple bottle of Chang beer, then for most people the pain threshold has been exceeded.
I know this from my Anglo-American friends, for example, who are appalled at such prices and moan.

I go through the LK metro two or three times and of course through the WS and then we see.

My visit plan for the LK Metro now looks like this:
Queen
Kink
Champagne
I used to really like NINJA, even though it's a Japanese gogo.

I've got enough to do there for now.

On the WS I will still go to Puin-Up.
Even though it's expensive, I'll just have a beer.
Then I'll look at the girls for about 30 minutes.

Then of course the Diamond Plaza. An intensive tour of all the new gogo's.

I'm currently sitting in Sarkies Bar in the famous, venerable beach hotel in Yangon.
For five o'clock tea! Hahaha

Actually, I only like the Kink in the LK-Metro. I checked out the others there, but I found them rather dull and boring. Kink is a three-time thing in a short space of time, but then it's also worn out. Near WS, Dollhouse, especially upstairs with the cozy couch, and Pin-Up are a must because of the girls. Sapphire is just overpriced and nothing special. All the others I've been to were more like the clothed standing on the pole thing.
