When reading dreadheads' report and his serious leg issue, I became thoughtful. During our travels, we tend to think of all sorts of contingencies and may even carry copies of our documents in case the originals get stolen. However, many of us are unprepared when a medical problem arises.

That's why I've decided to gather information about German-speaking doctors in Pattaya and Thailand in general, and potentially compile this as a resource for everyone. We should expand this service to cover other popular destinations in Thailand, creating a comprehensive first-aid network for all members in case of emergencies. Printing this out before a trip could provide added peace of mind.

I'd appreciate any information you can share about doctors, clinics, specialized hospitals, etc. Remember, a medical issue can happen to anyone.

To start, I can recommend:

Dr. Nithi
B.P. Pattaya Clinic
Tel.: 038488356
Naklua Road
Open daily from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Services: Full range of tests (HIV, Hepatitis, etc.), injections (100 Baht).
Younger doctor, speaks some German.
Good experience!

I'm looking forward to your additional suggestions.

Dr. Olivier Meyer's website is highly informative, providing a comprehensive overview of the wide range of services offered at his practice.

A checklist can be very helpful, as we're seeing with a prominent recent example.

Unfortunately, my very good friend is a bit "old-fashioned" and goes out in the evenings without a mobile phone. I may try to persuade him to change his ways.
