Holy crap, that is honestly some of the most messed-up stuff I’ve ever heard. I agree, the internet has made it so much easier to find some pretty disturbing things, and it’s like you can’t ever predict what you’ll find next. For me, I once came across a video that started off as a normal hookup story, but then took a dark turn into some weird psychological stuff that made my skin crawl. The thing about it was, it wasn’t even meant to be that way—it just ended up being uncomfortable and unsettling out of nowhere.
I feel like there's a point where these creators go too far, though. It’s one thing to have a niche or a fetish, but when things start becoming abusive or harmful, that’s where I draw the line. There’s a huge difference between a consensual experience and something that crosses into dark, unhealthy territory. These types of videos can really mess with your head, and I don’t think a lot of people realize the consequences of putting such content out there.
I wonder, is it just me, or does anyone else feel like the internet kind of desensitizes us to things that should be shocking? I mean, if you see enough of these extremes, it can start to feel less like a big deal, even though it should be. I don’t think people should have to censor themselves, but there should be a responsibility in how we share and consume things online.
What do you all think? Do you feel like there’s a responsibility on the part of viewers, or is it on the creators? Should there be limits to what gets uploaded or shared?
