always sparks some interesting debates. The survey from IFOP is intriguing because it challenges the common belief that most women need simultaneous clitoral stimulation to orgasm during penetration. From my personal experience and what I've read, I believe it's more about the overall connection and comfort with your partner. Women can absolutely orgasm from penetration alone, especially if there's the right level of emotional intimacy, relaxation, and arousal.
However, I think the key is that many women are likely not aware of how their bodies respond during intercourse without focusing too much on the clitoral stimulation. It’s possible that some women have just never been able to fully tune into those sensations during penetration because there is so much emphasis on clitoral stimulation in mainstream discussions about female orgasm.
On the flip side, I do think many women experience more intense orgasms with some form of clitoral stimulation, whether direct or indirect. So while it's interesting that penetration alone can lead to orgasms for a majority, I think the experience varies widely depending on the person. A lot of it also has to do with how comfortable they feel and whether they know their own body.
What I do appreciate about this survey, though, is that it challenges the myth that women can't orgasm from penetration alone. It reminds us that every woman’s body is different, and we should prioritize communication in sexual relationships, as well as exploration, to understand what works best for each individual.
