I was in my early twenties, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. The girl I was with had been hinting at it for a while, and I could tell it was something she wanted, but I was nervous. I had all these questions running through my head—what if I mess up? What if she doesn’t enjoy it?
When the moment finally came, I just decided to go for it. She reassured me and made me feel comfortable, which helped a lot. What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed it once I let go of the overthinking. Seeing her reaction, hearing her breathing change—it was incredible to realize I could have that kind of impact on someone.
I think a lot of us have similar experiences where we’re initially unsure but then discover how rewarding it can be. For me, it became less about doing something "right" and more about being present in the moment and paying attention to what she liked.
To this day, I think back to that experience as a turning point in how I approach relationships. It taught me the importance of giving and understanding the other person’s needs. That’s something I carry with me even now.
