I’ve used both Tinder and Bumble quite a bit while traveling around Thailand, and I’ll say this: they definitely work, but it really depends on what you’re looking for. Tinder is super popular in Bangkok and Pattaya, and it's easy to get matches. The thing I’ve noticed is that the app is definitely more casual, and the conversations tend to be pretty surface-level. If you’re looking for something quick and fun, it’s perfect. But if you want to have a more meaningful connection, you really need to put in the effort.
Bumble, on the other hand, can be a bit more interesting because the women make the first move. This gives it a different vibe than Tinder, and honestly, I find the women on Bumble are more serious about getting to know you. The downside though is that, like Tinder, a lot of users are just looking for casual hookups, so you need to be clear about your intentions from the start.
