Thailand has one of the highest graduate entry levels in the world due to employers obsession with degrees. For example (and I quote) sign in a shop window in Royal Garden Pattaya "wanted, shop assistant, must have bachelors degree" - I kid not. Thailand is aiming for 70% graduate entry and thats phenomenally high in any country. Unfortunately it leads to many tin pot degrees and doesnt resolve the job market as you have too many graduates chasing too few jobs.
Also remember that the girls sitting at home with laptops can afford................a laptop.
Always important to remember that we (generally) meet girls (in bars) from the bottom 20% of the wealth ladder in Thailand which leads to an assumption that their financial situations are the norm', they are not. No need to go hi-so but even middle Thailand is pretty much the same as back home; mortgage, 2 cars, 2.2 kids and 1.2 dogs blah blah.
So, the answer is yes she very probably is a Uni student or graduate.
