I had a legit TGF for about three years.
She earned about 50,000 baht a month (working for a Japanese company), had her own house, her own car, etc.
I would see her about 2 months a year.
Due to the fact it was difficult to buy her gifts while I was away, I would transfer her 5,000-10,000 baht on Valentine's Day, her Birthday, and at Christmas (even though she was Buddhist the appreciate the gesture).
She never asked for anything but was very appreciative.
