I wondered for a while if I should put this posting up on this site but thought I would as people do look to have an interest in dating Thai girls as well as shall we say renting them.
I got engaged in Thailand to my Thai Girlfriend last week, I meet my Fiancée on line on a dating site she has lead a fairly sheltered life limited by being brought up by parents from a small village and working in a museum for Thai people so before me she never had much contact with farangs but she had taken English classes at work (which must have been by a backward English teacher).
It was a big deal for her and her family and we had 70 friends and family members come some travelled 6 or 7 hours to be there for a morning engagement and engagement breakfast originally the engagement was planned to take place at her home but that has been flooded for 3 weeks so we got engaged in her fathers shop some 2 hours from her home.
We had the engagement breakfast in the street under canvas and it was a great day for us both and all the guests.
So if there is anything that you want to know about getting engaged to a Thai Girl if I know the answer as I won’t pretend that I understood or know everything about it but if I can I will answer or find out for you
