Nope...people smoke in the Funhouse. It was different in Club Blu in the early days. In the end people smoked too.
About the girls:
There are about 20-25 of them who have been working together for years. First they were all in Club Blu...then the group moved to Sugar when Derrek and Rung opened the shop. When Derek handed the shop over to Phillip, some of them went back to the Funhouse. Including Mama San. The core of the gang is now in the Atlantic Bar where Rung's sister Jep's Stopfi is the boss.
For example Nam and Sky.
Basically you have to be careful with the whole gang...most of them just want to rip you off for drinks and don't go with customers. Example Sugar: Rose and Ploy Showgirls, Rak, Nam....Example Bee in the Funhouse...Example Nam and Sky in the Atlantic Bar....of course I'm talking about the average customer here. A handsome man with 5000 Baht up can definitely open a few doors...
But that doesn't work for lesbians and girls with Thai BFs... and there are an above-average number of them in Funhouse and Sugar. They definitely won't go with you... but they only say that after the idiot has bought a lot of drinks. A clear risk of rip-offs.
My opinion: The places aren't that bad for partying. The price of 700 Baht for a large bottle of SangSom with 4 mixers in Sugar is particularly great for an agogo. A beer bar will charge more...
If I'm looking for someone to cuddle with, I'm better off in any other agogo in the LK Metro.
1-2 years ago I was a regular at Sugar... last October I didn't manage to finish my bottle of SangSom in 30 days... I went to Funhouse exactly twice in 30 days in LK Metro... so much for that.
I'm writing so much about Sugar here because the girls often switch back and forth between Funhouse and Sugar. In terms of girls, you can rate both places the same.
