Yes, coming from Second Road a few of the first bars are closed, but towards the middle/towards the beach everything is open.
In my opinion the Nightwish Group concentrates their girls more on the bars in the middle of Soi 6 so that they are full.
There are still enough Yings out and about with Thai studs... maybe they will come during the "high season"
... but I also usually avoid the Nightwish Group, for me it's too much partying and not enough of what the 6 used to be all about.
