The following is based on what bargirls and ordinary girls have told me over the years, I am sure some of the bar managers/business owners on the forum could comment more.



I use to go a lot to a coffee shop and got to know one of ther girls who worked there. I never took her to bed but one evening on her night off we did go for a real Thai meal together. Before we went both the girl and the Thai manager of the coffee shop made it very clear she was a good girl and there would be nothing else. I even had to take her back to the coffee shop at the end of the evening! She was home by 10.00pm but for me the night was still young. She told me an unskilled person serving in a shop or working as a waitress earns about 6000B a month for a 12 hour day with just 2 days a month off. If they take more than 2 days off they are fined more than a days pay. I think the pay might rise soon as the new minimum wage comes in but remember this is Thailand and I am sure many of the small business will just not apply the new rate. Factory workers on a production line are getting about 8000B. New graduates earn more about 10000B a month - the receptionist at your hotel is on this money and teachers/bank workers about 12000B a month.

The bar pays its girls a salary of 7000B to10000B a month. I have heard what the bars are paying is slowly increasing especially for the really cute young girls. The girls that dance nude get the most and those who keep there knickers and bra on the least. Even so the girls that dance nude are only getting 100B a night more than the other girls. On top of this the girls get commission for each lady drink of about 50B and tips from customers. Girls average10 drinks a night which given they are in the bar for 7 plus hours a night is just over1 drink a hour. Girls clearly do much better than this on some nights. The bar takes the rest of the cost of the lady drink as profit and in some bars the girls have to cover their salary in lady drinks and/or bar fines or they have to make up the shortfall so in reality the bar gets the girls at no cost. Ten drinks a night give the girl 500B or 15000B a month from lady drinks and most customer will leave the girl a tip. On top of this she might be bar fined one a week so let's say another 10000B a month. So we are looking at over 30000B a month for a typical bar girl and it could be more.

I believe the massage girl gets all the money from any extras and the shop just takes the money for the massage. In some places you pay the girl in the room so the shop does not know if the extra was FS or a HJ. For a FS it is normally 1500B plus a tip and in the popular places girls can get 3 customers a day. I remember once going for a massage and when I picked the girl the mamason told me she have 3 customer today no good for you. She was the cutest one there so you could see why. I took the mamasons advise and choose a girl who had not been picked that day - yes the service was good! Massage girl must be getting 50000B a month and it could be double this.



A room with utilities costs between 5000B to 10000B a month depending where it is in Bangkok. Most girls share with one or two other girls so their accomodation cost are not that high. Food is also cheap so even on just 6000B a month a girl could live and have a little bit of money for other things.

Totally depends on the girl for gogos...the best girls even if only go LT 20 times a month and that is 60000baht straight away if just saying 3000baht before bar wage and lady drinks...used to know a Jap girl from Rainbow 1 who was getting way over 100g a month and that was before you take into account Japs sending her money...she was just finishing paying off a 7m baht condo on Ratchada and had two cars she couldn't drive. Bulls Head used to pay 18g a month for waitresses and then tips so even that better than many normal jobs in Thailand! Rio coyotes were getting 15g two years ago and 15 drinks a day average (mad that amount of tequila!) and that's another 11g..so 25/26g before they see customers after work if they do go. Lots of top girls go late though and don't get money from the bar as their salary gets cut for going late but they don't get as know they going to get bf'ed anyway
