If she already gratudated with a Masters and is fluent in English, she can actually make a reasonable amount of money. Universities will pay 60,000+ baht a month to a Thai with great credentials and expereience.
I have had ladies pay entire dates if our chemistry is really good and she is trying to impress me. Typically, it is a sign that she wants a relationship (or has already decided you are in one).

Agree with the above.
Not all Thai girls with normal jobs are poorly paid. I know plenty of normal thai girls who get paid more than 50k a month and that may not be a lot for a foreigner or a tourist coming here for a week, but it is for a middle-class thai girl.
If she is paying for you, then it’s her way of saying that she wants you to stay. If you are looking for a serious relationship with her, great. If not, then I’d be upfront honest with her exactly what you’re looking for.

Did she arrange where you went and what you did on the second date? Or ask/say she wanted to go somewhere particular? I have found that when dating Thai women who can afford to they will pay for the date if they arranged it or choose where to go.
