Seeking Advice on Uncontested Divorce in Bang Rak District Office - aiden15632 - 07-25-2024 Afternoon everyone, My ex and I have mutually agreed to proceed with an uncontested divorce at the Bang Rak district office, where we were originally married. We're trying to ensure we have all the necessary documents and follow the correct procedures, but there is some conflicting information out there. The documents we understand we need include:
Can anyone provide clarity on the following points?
Thanks in advance for any replies. Like 4o RE: Seeking Advice on Uncontested Divorce in Bang Rak District Office - shant234 - 07-25-2024 I had a similar "friendly" divorce experience. I went to a translator near the embassy (Dutch) who, for a fee, explained everything I needed to know and arranged all the legalizations. The process was straightforward; I simply signed the divorce papers at the district office. In my case, there were no possessions involved in the marriage, which made the process even smoother. The staff at the district office were quite considerate and even asked if I fully understood what I was signing. It was a nice touch, showing they cared about ensuring everything was clear. RE: Seeking Advice on Uncontested Divorce in Bang Rak District Office - daniel74 - 07-25-2024 Thanks again.... Nothing registered in uk so fairly easy. So it’s only the passport to be certified and translated? We’re also getting divorced same place as we married so let’s hope it’s easier. Thanks again for your advice RE: Seeking Advice on Uncontested Divorce in Bang Rak District Office - hilululu - 07-25-2024 We only have 2 days, so we'll have to handle it ourselves. I remember the process from when we got married—ugh, not again. Sorry to ask, but could you let me know the actual procedure step-by-step? I really appreciate your help with this. I don't mind the waiting, as it has to be done. RE: Seeking Advice on Uncontested Divorce in Bang Rak District Office - johnson13 - 07-25-2024 The divorce process is easy and quick. You just need your passport and marriage papers. You sign the divorce papers, and in about 10 minutes, it’s done. To be sure, have your passport translated. I also registered my marriage in my country, and for that to be canceled, I needed to translate and legalize everything. |
