The process was straightforward; I simply signed the divorce papers at the district office. In my case, there were no possessions involved in the marriage, which made the process even smoother. You just need your passport and marriage papers. You sign the divorce papers, and in about 10 minutes, it’s done. To be sure, have your passport translated. I also registered my marriage in my country, and for that to be canceled, I needed to translate and legalize everything.
