Pook Swan House: A Hidden Gem on Soi Buakhao - aiden15632 - 07-22-2024

Adjacent to the Butcher Arms Pub on Soi Buakhao, you’ll find Pook Swan House, a captivating A-Go-Go bar that’s worth a visit. This venue offers a unique experience with its open bar concept, allowing patrons to gaze into the pub and observe the bustling activity on Soi Buakhao. For those with a keen eye, a pair of binoculars can reveal even more of the neighborhood, including a distant view of Oli Bar.

Despite initial appearances that might suggest some of the ladies are less genuine, Pook Swan House does feature a selection of standout performers. During my visit, I was unexpectedly captivated when one dancer, clad in a striking "little black dress," performed on the pole. Her presence was so compelling that I found myself momentarily disoriented, struggling to navigate my way back to my hotel. This memorable encounter left a lasting impression.

While the bar may not cater to everyone's tastes, it offers a distinctive atmosphere that appeals to many. The ladies here are notably less aggressive compared to those in more tourist-heavy areas like Walking Street or Soi 6. They maintain a more relaxed demeanor, often simply waving from the bar without overwhelming guests.

For those looking for a more laid-back experience away from the hustle and bustle, Pook Swan House is a solid choice. It provides a mix of entertainment and atmosphere without the high-pressure tactics seen in other bars. The setting and vibe here make it a noteworthy spot for a more subdued yet enjoyable evening. Check out the video linked here for a glimpse into what makes Pook Swan House stand out.

Is it possible that the pictures are a bit old? And one mouse (Ek) hasn't been here for a year...
Thanks for the advertising anyway, Pook Swann is always good for a stop, sometimes even more...:bigg

The pictures are certainly older, I wanted to take a few pictures there in May, but they almost
knocked my 470€ Olympus EX1 out of my hand :k
It's also impossible to take a few harmless pictures at the other cafe bars.
And I've never had any problems with it before.
Because of the internet etc. blah, blah, blah... :devilish

Well, I don't know if this is the current thread for the Pook Bar Soi Buakhao, as nothing has been written since 2011... but I couldn't find another one, so I'm writing here.
According to my latest information from a lady from the above-mentioned bar, the Pook Bar will soon be temporarily closed for renovation work. Apparently they want to use the low season for this, which is understandable.
I couldn't get any exact dates.
The ladies will then move to the Pook Bar in Soi 6.
I think it will be pretty tight there - will there still be room for guests then
