Upstairs A-Go-Go on Walking Street: A Candid Review - aiden15632 - 07-22-2024 Upstairs A-Go-Go, located on the vibrant Walking Street, presents itself as an intriguing nightlife spot. However, my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. Here's an honest account of my experience. Upon arrival, the entrance lived up to its name: you have to climb a flight of stairs to enter the venue. This somewhat lengthy ascent sets the stage for what awaits inside. Once you reach the top, the bouncer rings a bell, signaling the dancers to spring into action, creating a façade of liveliness for the newcomers. Unfortunately, the initial impression quickly fades. The quality of entertainment at Upstairs A-Go-Go was disappointing. Many of the dancers performed in what could barely be described as lingerie, more akin to basic underwear. The costumes lacked the allure typically expected in such a setting, and the overall presentation felt uninspired. The dancers themselves seemed to lack enthusiasm. The last lineup I saw appeared to be from the deepest parts of Isaan, and while this might add a touch of authenticity, it didn't compensate for the evident lack of energy and professionalism. The performances felt perfunctory, as if the dancers were merely going through the motions without any real engagement with the audience. The atmosphere inside the club was lackluster, with a palpable sense of boredom among the performers. This, in turn, affected the overall vibe, making it one of the least impressive A-Go-Go experiences I've had on Walking Street. The effort to create an illusion of excitement by having the girls jump up and head to the stage as new guests arrived felt transparent and did little to enhance the experience. In summary, while Upstairs A-Go-Go has the potential to be a vibrant and exciting venue, my visit revealed significant shortcomings. The lack of enthusiasm, poor costume choices, and overall dull atmosphere made it one of the least enjoyable stops on my nightlife tour. For those seeking a truly engaging and lively A-Go-Go experience on Walking Street, there are likely better options available. RE: Upstairs A-Go-Go on Walking Street: A Candid Review - shant234 - 07-22-2024 A few years ago, I let the somewhat elderly ladyboy persuade me to take a look inside. Once inside, he tried quite aggressively to squeeze out a lot of LDs. When that didn't work out so well, I was immediately presented with the bill. A really horrible place. The ladyboy is still working and trying to get people in there. This summer, I took a look inside "on my own". It was horrible! There were no guests either. It's a mystery to me how the place has managed to survive all these years. RE: Upstairs A-Go-Go on Walking Street: A Candid Review - daniel74 - 07-22-2024 I can only agree with that. I was there in April this year. I was the only guest, all the girls were ugly without exception and they immediately tried to get one LD after another out of me with a lot of physical force. RE: Upstairs A-Go-Go on Walking Street: A Candid Review - johnson13 - 07-22-2024 Definitely the last GoGoBar on Walking Street towards the harbor, on the left side on the first floor above a live music venue. The "ladies" there were already a horror show years ago and nothing seems to have changed...
