Explosive Increases in aGoGo Barfine Prices - aiden15632 - 07-21-2024
Yesterday, I went on a tour of the aGoGo bars on Walking Street to check out the newly opened establishments and get a feel for the scene. While there are some standout venues with excellent shows and beautiful girls, I was shocked by the recent spike in barfine prices. Traditionally, the barfine at aGoGo bars has been higher compared to other venues, but now the prices are even surpassing those on Phuket's Bangla Road, which is quite a statement!
Here's a snapshot of the current barfine rates at several popular spots:
Gspot Pattaya: 1,100 to 1,300 Baht, depending on the girl
Glasshouse: 1,500 Baht for standard girls, 2,000 Baht for models
Bypass: 1,500 Baht, dropping to 1,000 Baht after midnight
Airport: 700 to 1,000 Baht for standard girls, 1,500 Baht for models
Adding to this the cost of the girl, which can be an additional 2,000 Baht, you’re looking at nearly 4,000 Baht for an evening out. Is this still considered reasonable? It’s no surprise that the city seems to be struggling with fewer visitors and a quieter atmosphere. What are your thoughts on these escalating prices?

It's nothing new that barfine prices in Pattaya only go in one direction.
There are two main reasons why this is the case:
1. The operators lack imagination.
2. Smartphones.
I've also written from time to time that, for example, GoGo prices in Bangkok
are lower than in Pattaya.
But this was laughed at here, because most people always think
that it's more expensive in Bangkok. I also wrote it in one of the threads that this season I experienced the barfine
being lower than last season for the first time. But of course in BKK, not Pattaya.
There are numerous GoGo's there with an 800 B barfine and also one that charged 800 last season and
is now back at 700 B.
At first I thought it had something to do with the opening hours restrictions.
But that's not the case.

At some point the point is reached where Thai logic no longer applies. Even sky-high prices can no longer compensate for the lack of customers if hardly anyone is willing to pay them.

an agogo mouse comes to me every afternoon and stays until 6 p.m. she relaxes me for 1000 baht, barfine zero. mamasan must not know anything about it
because of barfine: I let the girls hop around as they want, I will not release them

In addition to the usually completely overpriced bar fines, there is also the love wage...a stunner is hardly going to go for 2000 ST or 3000 LT.
I also know a number of girls who don't go at all...they only care about getting as many drinks out of the customers as possible.
Meeting up after work hasn't worked for a long time.
No wonder the Gogo's are getting emptier and the discos are getting fuller and fuller of guys.
