Tim Bar Beer & A-GoGo is a unique venue located on 2nd Road, conveniently situated just a short walk from Mike's Shopping Mall, which is about 100 meters down the road. From the outside, the establishment blends in with the street, lacking overt signs that it is a GoGo bar. For those who prefer a more low-key experience, the bar area at the front offers a standard drinking spot where you can enjoy the bustling atmosphere of 2nd Road without stepping into the GoGo section.
Inside, the GoGo bar features a decent number of girls who are generally of good-average attractiveness. While stunners are not commonly seen, there are no glaring visual outliers either. Seating can be a challenge, as the space is often crowded, and you might find yourself with multiple girls vying for attention. There are also service staff who may be more appealing than usual, though I prefer to select my own company. The girls can be quite persistent, which may not suit everyone’s taste.
The venue attracts a predominantly English-speaking crowd, so if you’re not comfortable with that, it might be something to consider. Prices align with the standard GoGo bar rates, and the music predominantly features DVD rock on flat screens, played at a volume conducive to conversation. Additionally, the large adjoining room offers pool tables for those looking to unwind and enjoy a casual game.
Overall, Tim Bar Beer & A-GoGo is worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a typical GoGo experience with the option to enjoy some pool as well.

I used to love going to the Tim Bar, but I haven't been to Thailand for three years.
What struck me as very negative this year is that you're constantly being hit on for lady drinks, even if you really just want a drink and are listening to the (very good) rock music.
If you don't buy one, the girls will obviously leave, which is fine, but then Mamasan will immediately send the tequila girls after you with their Lao-Khao booze blend (el-toro) for 150 baht. If you don't want a "tequila" either, the two girls will annoy you for at least five minutes, asking you to at least buy them one... sorry, this begging is pathetic.
Don't get me wrong, I actually like this bar, and I actually like buying lady drinks now and then, but with this constant begging I'm getting stubborn.
I also find the policy strange that you have to pay 600 THB BF for the girls who work "outside" at the beer bar, what's the point of that?
As I said, it's a real shame about a really great bar that has become a 1-2 drink location for me at least because of such actions, although the girls outside at the beer bar are very nice, especially at lunchtime, and some of them are quite pretty.
The drink prices are OK, Gin Tonic 95 THB, Tiger 75 THB. You can also order food from the Tim Hotel (the hamburger is delicious!)

If there is a Gogo attached, you can represent both.
It's problematic anyway, because there are more and more combinations, such as U-Too-Bar,
Club Blue, etc., which are combinations of bar and Gogo.
There are supposed to be members who aren't interested in Gogos and
therefore don't look in this section, and those who aren't
interested in bars but are interested in Gogos.
So I would leave it as it is, or what's wrong with that?
But if one or two chicks dance on the pole every now and then,
then it's still not Gogo, but a bar with show acts.

I regularly look in when I'm there, as I often stay at the Intimate Hotel. It's not worth reporting. Most of the women there are rather chubby. Strong LD flirting. They're funny, but if the looks aren't right, you don't stay long. I've never stayed longer than one beer. But I quite like playing pool there, and you can also watch football.
