Interested in a friendly game of Skat? We've been playing together for about 3 years now, meeting at various locations. The main goal is simply to have fun!
We've had some very amusing groups over the years. Recently in late 2018/early 2019, we even played with 7-8 people at two tables at once. But attendance can be quite variable depending on the season.
We play for the enjoyment, not to antagonize each other. The occasional good-natured jab is all part of the fun - whether it's about points on the scoresheet or just casual banter. We're not an official club with bylaws or a board; we just agree on the rules together before each game, much like a casual pub Skat session.
After a round is lost, the most we'll do is buy a drink (of your choice) for the other players.
We currently play at the "The Food" restaurant in Soi Buakaow. If you know the Smurf Bar, you can't miss it.
We have a WhatsApp group to coordinate when players are available to meet up. Please only use this group for Skat-related messages - no spam allowed.
We don't have set playing days yet, as the group is still growing. We try to give 1-2 days' notice before a game. If you commit to playing, please follow through - we know schedules can be tricky in Pattaya.
The group is a mix of local residents and temporary visitors. If you're interested in joining, feel free to PM me your phone number and I'll add you to the Pattaya Skat WhatsApp group.
You can mute notifications when back home, then turn them back on when you're in Pattaya to stay in the loop. Hope to see some new friendly faces join us soon!

I would be generally interested. What time is it planned for, and how long will it last? Jomtien is not just around the corner from me....
In that case, it would be optimal for me if it was held at my place in View Talay 2 A.

Dear friends of the refined Skat circle,
Currently, there are still self-proclaimed brain athletes on site, but this is changing almost daily. The elite will be arriving this and next week, so anyone interested should get in touch - starting from Songkran, it will be buzzing with members and VIPs on site once again.

Hello everyone,
Do you also play 'Bock' and 'Ramsch' after a lost Contra game? If so, I would be happy to join in January 2020.
